• New bottling line in action!

We are now in a position, in our Dublin Whiskey house, to select and match aged malt and Jack Ryan cask, keep a careful watch over maturation and finish, and – at last! – bottle each of our whiskeys when it is just right.

First up will be a special Finca Museum 12YO cask. This will be the first of the Jack Ryan Special Cask Series. Further casks in this series will include Justino’s Madeira, Château du Breuil calvados, bourbon, Heytesbury rum, and more,
And of course, the 2nd and 3rd parts of the Generation Trilogy, started to award-winning effect with Toomevara 10YO, will continue with Haddington 11YO and be completed by Finisher’s Touch 12YO. Numbered and signed by Eunan Ryan, MD and 5th generation Ryan scion, the Generation Trilogy follows the gratifying and peer-celebrated success of Jack Ryan 12YO, still available.

  • Attending to the Casks at Hand

Winter 2020/21, goodbye, and close the door on your way out; don’t call us, we’ll call you. Meanwhile, back at the ranch – rather, back at our Finishing Hall – malts are incubating (incaskating?) and we are putting a Ryan finisher’s touch to our next releases.

OK, we get it; some of you are new to whiskey, or if not new to uisce beatha, at least new to Single Malt Irish (the bee’s knees of whiskey), and you’d like to dip your taste buds before taking the plunge on a full bottle. Fully understandable; fine whiskey costs that little bit more. We figured a properly wrapped three-pack (or rapped 3-pac) of The Generation Trilogy might meet many a need. That’s right, three 50ml miniatures – one each of Toomevara, Haddington and Finisher’s Touch – are coming soon. Don’t mention it; you’re entirely welcome. Watch this space

  • Toomevara in pole position

Toomevara, 10YO Single Malt, first of the Generation Trilogy, 6 generations of Ryans, collaborative finish in a special cask sourced by the Ryans from Château du Breuil, producers of fine calvados in Normandy France.

Toomevara was adjudged the best Irish Single Malt in the 2019 San Fran World Spirits Competition. Approved for Christmas gifting by Alabaster Snowball, Elf-in-Chief, Food and Beverages Dept, North Pole. Only sayin’.

  • It’s beginning to look a lot like …. !

Jack Ryan Whiskey, with its decorations for the season that’s nearly in it; The Generation Trilogy of Toomevara 10YO (Chateau du Breuil calvados), Haddington 11YO (old rum), Finisher’s Touch 12YO (Justino’s madeira), Ryan Cask Elite Finishes – release#1 – Finca Museum Rioja, and of course, Jack Ryan 12YO

  • Finca Museum Rioja begins the Jack Ryan Cask Elite Finish series

An exceptional Single Cask, Cask Strength (58.1% abv) carmine-gold beauty. The series will continue with single cask, reserved and cask strength releases – each of the order of 200 or so bottles – finished in various Jack Ryan repertory casks, classic and eclectic. Check out the usual specialist outlets.

Coming soon, calvados, madeira, rum, bourbon and more. Is túisce deoch ná scéal; tá a lán le rá ag Jack Ryan Finca!

  • Finisher’s Touch completes The Generation Trilogy

Keep an eye in the usual quality outlets, for Finisher’s Touch, coming soon. This 12YO single malt was finished in Ryan casks that we sent for madeira seasoning to Justino’s of Santa Cruz, returning them to add – yes – the Ryan finisher’s touch to some of our aged malt. Just 6,500 numbered bottles, signed by Ryan scion Eunan.

We hope you like it. Toomevara, Haddington, Finisher’s Touch – The Generation Trilogy, celebrating six generations of Ryans
