To their delight, it promptly won the Irish Whiskey Award for ‘single malts 12 year-old or under’, following a stringent blind-taste test under the auspices of the Celtic Whiskey Club and the Irish Whiskey Society. The San Francisco World Spirits competition attracted more than 2,100 entries, and the Gold was awarded by a prestigious panel of industry experts.Jack Ryan 12YO is available in Europe, North America and 16 other markets around the world, and is going from strength to strength. Jack Ryan would have been happy, as would his father Thomas Ryan, whose Ryan’s Malt was so popular in the locality all those years ago, revived now to multiple award-winning effect by grandson Eunan.
